Scroll Down

Magrine Extra Brut is the driest version of Prosecco DOC. A clean, precise palate and fine bubbles bring lightness, vivid freshness, and effortless drinkability.

Prosecco DOC Extra Brut

The Extra Brut style is distinguished by an almost imperceptible residual sugar. Magrine Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Brut favors clarity and drive, with a taut profile that highlights the fruit. Scents of white flowers and a delicate perlage lead to a dry finish, rich in freshness and notable quality.

Prosecco DOC Treviso

Made from selected Glera grapes, Extra Brut prioritizes aromatic purity and palate tension. It comes from the hills of the province of Treviso, where a breezy microclimate and hillside exposures foster healthy clusters and crystalline aromas. The minimal addition of sugar sharpens its identity: a dry, precise style, intimately tied to this terroir and hard to replicate elsewhere.

Tasting

Visual exam

Magrine Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Brut is crystal-clear and bright, a very pale straw yellow—almost transparent—with faint greenish highlights. The perlage is fine, plentiful, and rather persistent.

Olfactory exam

The Extra Brut expression is marked by crisp, very fresh aromas: green apple takes the lead, with hints of crunchy pear. Citrus notes of lime and citron follow, alongside nuances of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn, jasmine) and a faint mineral/vegetal touch that completes a clean, elegant profile.

Taste exam

On the palate, Magrine Prosecco Extra Brut is dry, taut, and linear, with well-integrated citrusy acidity and a gentle savoriness that lengthens the sip. The fine perlage supports the drink without weighing it down, leading to a dry, clean finish with citrus echoes. Best enjoyed as an aperitif and paired with raw and carpaccio-style fish, shellfish, and delicate seafood dishes.
